Ottawa Youth Orchestra Academy

The Ottawa Youth Orchestra Academy (OYOA) has been running in Ottawa for over 25 years. It offers young musicians the unique experience of ensemble playing. In addition to two full orchestras, the OYOA offers wind, brass, harp and string ensembles for. Its a wonderful organization for elementary and high-school students with a passion for music. With 350 students, such a wide range of ensembles and exceptional teachers, we are very lucky to have such an organization in Ottawa.

Canto Sentimento Quartet

Heather is pursuing a degree in Music Performance, viola at the University of Ottawa, studying with Rennie Regher. In addition to her position as assistant principal viola in the University of Ottawa Orchestra, Heather is a member of the Canto Sentimento String Quartet - "elegant music to complement any occasion".
